Safe City Solutions (Surveillance and Security)

Islamabad Safe City Project (Upgradation Stage 2)

The Islamabad Safe City Project – Upgradation Stage 2 focuses on enhancing citywide security and surveillance through advanced AI-powered technologies. The project includes the deployment of high-specification cameras, intelligent video analytics, and ANPR systems to improve real-time monitoring, traffic management, and crime prevention. Upgrades to the Central Police Operations Center, integration with emergency services, and the establishment of dedicated Situation Rooms further strengthen rapid response capabilities. The initiative also includes major infrastructure improvements—such as fiber optic networking, resilient power systems, and custom-built camera poles—ensuring a reliable and scalable surveillance ecosystem across the capital.

Muharram-ul-Haram Security Surveillance Initiative

The Muharram-ul-Haram Security Surveillance Initiative focuses on strengthening citywide safety and situational awareness during religious processions through extensive surveillance enhancements. The project includes the installation of 200 additional route-specific cameras, supported by Islamabad’s existing Safe City network comprising thousands of surveillance units. Drone cameras were deployed to provide aerial visibility of large gatherings, ensuring full coverage and rapid identification of potential threats. Real-time monitoring was conducted through dedicated control rooms within the Safe City complex, enabling efficient coordination and immediate response to emerging incidents. The initiative also aligns with the broader expansion of the surveillance ecosystem, with over 3,100 new cameras being added to further enhance coverage and security throughout the city.

The project was reinforced by robust technical infrastructure, including the commissioning of network switches and media converters, installation of weatherproof outdoor cabinets with UPS support, deployment of custom pole structures, laying of fiber optic connectivity, and integration of ANPR, PTZ, and fixed cameras into the central Safe City system—ensuring seamless monitoring and uninterrupted operational readiness.

OPTICAL FIBER INSTALLATION

The project involved the installation of 8-Core Aerial Optical Fiber Cable with secure mounting hardware, supported by precise splicing, termination, and OTDR testing to ensure reliable, high-speed communication. A total of 124 ONTs were supplied, installed, and commissioned to enhance bandwidth, improve video-streaming performance, and strengthen overall network stability. Complete civil works were carried out, including RCC pole foundations, DB mountings, earthing systems with resistance below 5 Ohms, and properly constructed handholes. All installations were executed according to approved engineering standards and verified through consultant inspections, FAT procedures, and concrete strength testing.

SMD Screen Installation at PM House

A high-brightness outdoor SMD screen was installed with complete engineering, fabrication, civil works, mounting, and commissioning. The system features weatherproof LED panels, stable power infrastructure, and a robust support structure to ensure reliable performance for official use.

SMD Screen Installation at Barakahu Overhead Bridge

A fully engineered outdoor SMD display was deployed at the Barakahu Overhead Bridge, including structural fabrication, civil works, electrical setup, and seamless commissioning. The installation enhances public information visibility with durable, weather-resistant LED technology.

SMD Screen Installation at Serena Chowk

An outdoor SMD screen was installed at Serena Chowk with complete end-to-end execution, including structural support, electrical works, and final commissioning. The high-brightness, IP-rated LED display provides clear visibility for public messaging and continuous outdoor operation.
